The skills development of our employees and teams, to be ahead of the Cybersecurity market, is fundamental at Advens.
Several tools are therefore made available to our employees to allow this increase in skills: external / internal training, support by a technical mentor, certifications, conferences, feedback, but also “Live my life”.
Because we are convinced that our employees are more relevant to our customers when they open up to new cybersecurity skills, we have set up “farandoles” within our teams. Their goal is to discover, over a limited period of time, the different teams within the company Advens.
This is how Raphaël, Auditor at Advens, was able to discover the defensive security part:
“Initially being part of the Red Team, I switched to the Blue Team. The goal is the same: to help our customers progress safely. But the job is very different: it’s about setting up security systems that must last, not looking for vulnerabilities on a regular basis.”
Raphaël • Auditor
To him, the number 1 quality that a job must offer him are opportunities to learn and improve on a technical level. Changing jobs within the same company is a good lever for that. Another advantage is that it allows you to develop a different point of view on the same issues!
These farandoles not only allow our employees to have other points of view on their profession, but also to strengthen cooperation, transversality and communication between our teams.
